What do you do when you want to see all your friends, but there aren't enough days in the week?  You meet at The Talking Teacup, in Chalfont, Pa., a charming place to get away from your ordinary routine.   This tearoom is a place where you can relax and rejuvenate with a cup of tea (there are more then 64 choices!); a variety of scones and light entries, including assorted tea sandwiches, and delightful salads designed to elicit all your senses.

The Talking Teacup opened in November, 2003 by two women bound together by a dream and the courage to succeed.  The tearoom and gift shoppe took on a life of its own after that and has grown to more then 250 customers on a weekly basis.  "We host not only Red Hat Society groups, but reunions of college friends, neighbors who never see each other anymore, as well as friends who kust want something different from the ordinary breakfast or lunch experience." Says Kathy Heck, proprietor of The Talking Teacup.

If you haven't yet figured out what to do for Mother's Day, bring your mom, your sister, your daughter, your grandmom, bring all the special women in your life to The Talking Teacup for a special "date" among the beautifully mismatched dishes, tablecloths and chairs.  You can bring your camera and take an old-fashioned picture dressed up in period clothes kept upstairs in the "Dress Up Room".

What if you are planning an event in your home, office, club or church?  Consider using The Talking Teacup's catering take-out service.  It's a unique, tasty and affordable way to add a special flair to your event.  All the same tasty teas and delicious scones, tea sandwiches, soups and dessert are available for catering take out service.

Come - set aside your daily routine and as they say at The Talking Teacup - "Enter as strangers, leave as friends!"
