Tea, Not Just For Older Ladies

Now I know you've driven by The Talking Teacup out there on Rt. 202 in Chalfont PA., and wondered to yourself, "I wonder what it's like in there? Is it a formal tearoom? Do I need to wear gloves? Can I bring my husband and family or is it only for older ladies doing tea on Wednesday mornings?

You can rest assured that The Talking Teacup is a causal tearoom with country furniture and atmosphere to match.   The servers are wearing colorful aprons that compliment the décor and not stuffy server uniforms!   You do not have to wear gloves (unless you'd like to).  You are more then welcome to bring friends and family, regardless of age or gender.   Tea doesn't discriminate at The Talking Teacup!

If you'd like to try out the breakfast, be sure to consider the Eye Opener with its delicious combination of scones and tea breads, which comes served with your own never-ending pot of tea of your choice (and yes they do have decaf).

Or, if you and your family are looking for a different place to take a break on a hot summer day, then come for either a Light Lunch or a High Tea.  With these you can get either scones and assorted tea sandwiches or an entrée salad unparalleled in taste and texture from those salads at the nearby chain restaurants.

Be sure to order the Iced Tea of your choice to compliment your meal.  There's nothing like a cup of Lavender Sunset to help you relax away from the hustle and bustle of the pool snack bar.  Let's face it, there are just some days you'd like something lighter than a hot dog and fries.

So, the next time you are driving by The Talking Teacup in Chalfont / New Britain, do yourself a favor and stop in to sample the flavor.
