Fresh Food – No Tiers

At our tea house, we serve our fresh food in courses, not on traditional tiered trays. “Why?” – Well we get asked a lot.

We believe tea time should be an enjoyable journey, not a rush. Serving in courses allows us to present each dish fresh from the kitchen, keeping warm items warm and giving our guests time to savor and enjoy every morsel of fresh food; and then anticipate what is coming next.

We change our decor, our teas, and our menu with the seasons, events and holidays – so why not reimagine the way we serve tea, too?

The Talking Teacup is not like every other teahouse. We’re trying to be ourself. And we think that is something worth celebrating. It’s a little different and that is exactly the point.
